Los Angeles: Stampede Breaks Out At Nipsey Hussle Memorial

04.01.2019 | 8:10 PM | LOS ANGELES – A stampede that broke out during a memorial for Nipsey Hussle in front of the store where he was fatally gunned down left several people injured, Monday night.

The large group gathered in front of The Marathon Clothing store that Hussle founded and was gunned down in front of in the 3400 block of Slauson Avenue around 8:10 PM.

At some point during the memorial a stampede broke out causing several people to be injured.

Firefighter paramedics responded with law enforcement and treated several people on scene. At least one person was critically injured and transported to an area hospital.

Officers moved in and cleared out the parking lot where the memorial had taken place.

There was no word on what prompted the stampede.
