Los Angeles: Raging Fire Destroys Automotive Business

11.14.2018 | 3:55 AM | LOS ANGELES – A raging fire destroyed an automotive business and damaged adjacent buildings, Wednesday morning.

Firefighters responded to calls reporting an outside fire in the 800 block of East Florence Avenue shortly before 4:00 AM.

Crews responding discovered the fire had extended to a nearby structure housing an automotive business.

Units forced entry into the premises before battling the stubborn blaze which quickly extended into adjacent structures.

Over 100 firefighters responded to control the blaze within 50 minutes.

The automotive business was an apparent total loss. The adjacent structures were vacant at the time of the fire.

No injuries were reported and investigators were on scene determining the cause.
