Los Angeles: Protests Against Police Brutality End With Arrests

08.26.2020 | 11:10 PM | LOS ANGELES – A third night of protests against police brutality and the shooting death of Jacob Blake in Kenosha, Wisconsin ended with arrests, late Wednesday night.

Groups of over a hundred protesters rallied near the intersection of Third Street and Figueroa when a peaceful protest turned violent.

Some protesters were reportedly vandalizing property prompting officers to declare the gathering an unlawful assembly.

Several arrests were made during the incident and less-lethal weapons were used to subdue agitators in the crowd.

The number of arrests made was not immediately reported.
