Los Angeles: Police Shoot At Man Displaying Handgun

11.25.2018 | 9:00 PM | LOS ANGELES – A man was in-custody after displaying a handgun and prompting officers to shoot, Sunday night.

Officers responded to reports of a shooting in the area of 85th and Main streets around 9:00 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a potential suspect before a dispute occurred.

Details were scant but authorities reported the suspect displayed a handgun before officers opened fire.

The suspect was not struck, but officers were able to immediately apprehend the man.

Investigators responded to the scene along with numerous other officers to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
