Los Angeles: Police Searching For Armed Suspect Who Threatened Mother & Children

03.28.2019 | 11:30 PM | LOS ANGELES – Police were searching for an armed man who threatened a mother and her three children after being being interrupted during an apparent burglary, Thursday night.

Officers responded to reports of an interrupted burglary with an armed suspect in the 7400 block of South San Pedro Street shortly before midnight.

Units arriving on scene learned a mother and her three children had returned to their home when they discovered an armed intruder inside.

The armed suspect ordered the mother and her children inside the residence but the quick thinking mom grabbed her kids and fled.

Believing the suspect was possibly still inside a SWAT team responded and made entry to the home.

The suspect was not located inside and remains at large.
