Los Angeles: Police Officers Hospitalized After Hit-And-Run Crash

01.02.2019 | 11:30 PM | LOS ANGELES – Two police officers were hospitalized and one man was arrested after a hit-and-run crash, late Wednesday night.

Officers radioed for help after being involved in a traffic collision near the intersection of La Brea Avenue and Beverly Boulevard in the Hancock Park area around 11:30 PM.

Additional units arriving on scene located a three vehicle traffic collision including a Ford Explorer patrol vehicle and discovered one driver fled the scene on foot.

The man who fled was quickly located and placed under arrest.

Both officers inside the patrol vehicle were transported to area hospitals as a result of the crash. No other injuries were reported.

The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation.
