Los Angeles: Pedestrian Struck And Killed By Metro Bus

02.26.2019 | 12:15 AM | LOS ANGELES – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a Metro bus in the Mid-Wilshire area, early Tuesday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of a vehicle versus pedestrian crash in the 4400 block of Wilshire Boulevard near Fremont Place around 12:15 AM.

Units arriving on scene found a Metro bus that had apparently struck a pedestrian who was down in the roadway.

Firefighter paramedics pronounced the pedestrian deceased on scene.

Several patrons were on the bus at the time of the crash but none were injured.

Officers closed off the intersection while they investigated the crash.
