Los Angeles: Pedestrian Seriously Injured After Hit & Run Crash

09.09.2019 | 10:29 PM | LOS ANGELES – A pedestrian was seriously injured after being struck by a driver who fled, Monday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision involving a pedestrian in the 100 block of East Century around 10:29 PM.

Units arriving on scene found a male victim down in the roadway who had injuries consistent with being struck by a vehicle.

Firefighter paramedics treated the victim on scene and transported him to an area hospital with serious injuries.

Initial reports indicate a female hispanic driving a blue hatchback struck the pedestrian before fleeing the scene without rendering aid.

A search for the hit and run driver was underway.
