Los Angeles: Pedestrian Killed By Hit-And-Run Driver

07.19.2019 | 2:19 AM | LOS ANGELES – Police are searching for clues after a pedestrian was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver, early Friday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision involving a pedestrian in the 6000 block of West Cadillac Avenue around 2:19 AM.

Units arriving on scene located a pedestrian down in the roadway deceased from injuries consistent with being struck by a vehicle.

The driver that apparently struck the pedestrian fled the scene without stopping to render aid.

A perimeter was established while police searched for evidence and other clues that would lead them to the hit-and-run driver,
