Los Angeles: Pedestrian Dies After Being Struck On Freeway

01.06.2019 | 11:20 PM | LOS ANGELES – A woman was dead after she was struck on a freeway, Sunday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a pedestrian who had been struck while walking along northbound lanes of the I-110 Freeway near Florence Avenue around 11:20 PM.

Officers arriving on scene found a woman down in lanes and performed CPR.

Firefighter paramedics took over life-saving efforts but determined the adult female was deceased on scene.

The driver that struck the victim remained on scene and appeared to cooperate with law enforcement.

It was unknown why the victim was walking on the freeway.
