Los Angeles: Officers Injured After Crash

07.22.2020 | 8:36 AM | LOS ANGELES – Two officers were injured after a crash involving their patrol vehicle, Wednesday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision at the intersection of Santa Monica Boulevard and Butler Avenue in the Sawtelle area around 8:36 PM.

Units arriving on scene found a two-car crash involving a Los Angeles Police Department patrol vehicle.

Crews used the Jaws of Life to pop open a door of the patrol vehicle and treated both officers on scene before transporting them to an area hospital.

The driver of the other involved vehicle was uninjured and cooperating with the investigation.

The circumstances surrounding the crash were not immediately available.
