Los Angeles: Miata Crashes Into LAPD Patrol Vehicle

06.10.2019 | 1:49 AM | LOS ANGELES – One person was injured after a three-car crash involving a LAPD patrol vehicle, early Monday morning.

Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department’s West L.A. Division were on a radio call in the area of Oletha Lane and Beverly Glen Boulevard around 1:49 AM.

While in their patrol vehicle a Mazda Miata struck the officers along with a Chevrolet Corvette parked nearby.

Firefighter paramedics responded to the scene and transported the driver of the Miata to an area hospital in unknown condition. The officers were both uninjured.

The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation.
