Los Angeles: Massive Pallet Fire Threatens Structures

10.30.2019 | 8:15 PM | LOS ANGELES – A massive pallet fire that broke out behind a business quickly grew and threatened nearby structures, Wednesday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a fire burning in a lumber yard behind a business in the 9400 block of Alameda Street in the unincorporated Florence-Firestone area around 8:15 PM.

Crews arriving on scene found a massive pallet fire burning behind a business and quickly began efforts to attack the blaze.

The raging fire forced firefighters to take a defensive approach, ensuring nearby structures did not burn as a result of the blaze.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
