Los Angeles: Man, Woman Hospitalized After Double Shooting

01.10.2019 | 10:56 PM | LOS ANGELES – Deputies are investigating after a man and a woman were shot in Willowbrook, Thursday night.

Authorities responded to the reported shooting in the 11900 block of South Elva Street shortly before 11:00 PM.

Units arriving on scene located two victims, one male and one female, suffering from gunshot wounds.

Firefighter paramedics treated the couple on scene before transporting them to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.

Deputies secured the area while they collected evidence from the scene including a plethora of shell casings.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation.
