Los Angeles: Man Throws Molotov Cocktail At Officers Prompting SWAT Standoff

09.05.2019 | 1:30 AM | LOS ANGELES – A suspect who throw a molotov cocktail at police officers prompted a standoff, early Thursday morning.

Officers with the Los Angeles Police Department were responding to a call in the 400 block of East 41st Street around 1:30 AM when an assailant throw a molotov cocktail at them.

Additional officers responded to the location and called out for the suspect to surrender to no avail prompting an standoff.

A SWAT team responded in attempt to end the situation and firefighters and arson investigators were on scene to assist officers.

The outcome of the standoff was not immediately known.
