Los Angeles: Man Shot To Death Inside Park

12.18.2018 | 8:00 PM | LOS ANGELES – Authorities were investigating after a man was gunned down in a local park, Tuesday evening.

Police responded to reports of a shooting in the park outside the South Park Recreational Center in the 300 block of East 51st Street around 8:00 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a male victim in the park suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

Firefighter paramedics arriving on scene evaluated the male and determined he was deceased.

A crime scene was established while detectives responded to investigate the homicide.

No suspect information or motive was immediately available.
