Los Angeles: Man Shot Inside High-Rise Apartment

06.11.2020 | 10:00 PM | LOS ANGELES – A man was injured after being struck by gunfire in a high-rise apartment building, Thursday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a shooting with a victim down at the 8th+Hope high-rise apartment building located in the 800 block of South Hope Street in the downtown area around 10:00 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the neck inside an apartment.

Firefighter paramedics treated the victim on scene before transporting him to an area trauma center in unknown condition.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting including a suspect description or motive were not immediately available.
