Los Angeles: Man Gunned Down In Street

07.18.2019 | 8:45 PM | LOS ANGELES – Police are investigating after a man was gunned down, Thursday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a shooting with a victim down near the intersection of South Denver and West 59th streets in the Vermont-Slauson area of Los Angeles around 8:45 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a male victim down in the street suffering from a gunshot wound.

Firefighter paramedics treated the man on scene before transporting him to an area hospital in unknown condition.

Officers cordoned off the area while they looked clues and investigated the circumstances surrounding the shooting,
