Los Angeles: Man Fatally Struck While Apparently Repairing Vehicle On Freeway

11.11.2019 | 10:17 PM | LOS ANGELES – A man who was apparently working on a disabled vehicle was struck and killed, Monday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision involving a pedestrian on the southbound I-110 Freeway near El Segundo around 10:17 PM.

Units arriving on scene located an adult male down in the roadway and pronounced him deceased on scene.

A pickup truck was located approximately 40-feet behind the victim.

It appears the victim may have been attempting to repair that vehicle when he was struck.

It was unclear if the driver who struck the pedestrian stopped and contacted law enforcement.

The circumstances surrounding the crash are under investigation.
