Los Angeles: Man Critically Injured After Drive-By Shooting

12.17.2018 | 6:30 PM | LOS ANGELES – A man in his 20s was critically injured after a drive-by shooting in South Los Angeles, Monday evening.

Police and fire officials responded to reports of a shooting with a man down in the area of Cimarron and 66th streets around 6:30 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a male victim in his 20s down suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Firefighter paramedics treated the victim on scene before transporting him to an area hospital in critical condition.

Witnesses on scene reported that a passing vehicle with two men inside opened fire on the victim as he walked down the street.

Both suspects fled immediately after the shooting.

No suspect or vehicle description was immediately available.
