Los Angeles: House Fire Injures Five People, One Critically
12.29.2018 | 4:02 AM | LOS ANGELES – A house fire in Boyle Heights injured at least five people, Saturday morning.
Firefighters responded to reports of a fire in the 2200 block of Sheridan Street around 4:02 AM.
Crews arriving on scene found a home with heavy smoke and fire showing and initiated an aggressive fire attack.
Within an hour the flames were extinguished but five people with ages ranging from 3 to 67-years-old were injured as a result.
Firefighter paramedics worked to treat all victims on scene before transporting them to area hospitals.
At least one victim was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.
Investigators are on scene working to determine the cause of the early morning fire.
