Los Angeles: Gravel Truck Overturns On Busy Freeway Off Ramp

05.31.2019 | 12:19 AM | LOS ANGELES – A gravel truck overturned on a busy freeway off ramp, early Friday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of an overturned semi-truck on the Highland Avenue off ramp from the I-101 Freeway in the Hollywood Hills area around 12:19 AM.

Units arriving on scene found a semi-truck hauling two trailers of gravel that had overturned and was blocking lanes.

The driver of the truck was uninjured but CalTrans had to be called to assist with clean-up and removal of the truck.

Officers shut down the Highland Avenue off-ramp as well as the #3 and #4 lanes of southbound I-101 Freeway while the cleanup continued.
