Los Angeles: George Floyd Protests Continue Into Second Night

05.28.2020 | 10:00 PM | LOS ANGELES – Protests against the murder of George Floyd in Minneapolis continued for a second night, on Thursday.

A group of just over 100 protesters descended on downtown to protest the killing of George Floyd.

The group convened on near the intersection of 2nd Street and Grand Avenue where some individuals threw bottles and rocks at officers.

At least one officer was doused with bleach and the windows to a Starbucks were smashed by protesters according radio traffic.

Officers remained mostly hands-off and it was not immediately clear whether any arrests were reported.
