Los Angeles: Firefighters Extinguish Car Engulfed With Flames
06.08.2019 | 11:15 PM | LOS ANGELES – Firefighters extinguished a vehicle that became engulfed in flames while traveling on a local freeway, Saturday night.
Authorities responded to the reported vehicle fire along the southbound SR-170 just south of Roscoe Boulevard in Sun Valley around 11:15 PM.
Units arriving on scene found a vehicle on the shoulder of the freeway engulfed in flames and began efforts to extinguish the fire.
Within 5 minutes of arrival the bulk of flames were knocked down and the fire was prevented from spreading to nearby brush.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
