Los Angeles: Firefighters Battle Intense House Fire

06.01.2019 | 1:20 PM | LOS ANGELES – Firefighters battled an intense house fire that broke out, Monday afternoon.

Authorities responded to reports of a residential structure fire in the 18000 block of Vanowen Street around 1:20 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a single story detached residence with heavy smoke and fire showing.

Crews worked for approximately 20 minutes to extinguish the fire which was contained before it could spread further.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
