Los Angeles: Fire Erupts At Abandoned Home

11.26.2018 | 11:35 PM | LOS ANGELES – Firefighters extinguished stubborn flames at a boarded up home in Exposition Park, late Monday night.

Firefighters responded to reports of a fire in the 1600 block of West 38th Street shortly after 11:30 PM.

Crews arriving on scene found a boarded up home with heavy smoke and fire showing from the roof.

Firefighter immediately attacked the flames but were hindered by boarded up windows and doors.

Within 30 minutes the flames were extinguished. No injuries were reported and the residence was unoccupied at the time.

Neighbors report this is the second time in recent memory that the home has burned.
