Los Angeles: Driver Flees After Killing Pedestrian

01.16.2019 | 8:25 PM | LOS ANGELES – Police are searching for a driver who fled after striking a pedestrian, Wednesday night.

Police and fire officials responded to the reported auto versus pedestrian crash at the intersection of Whittier Boulevard and Indiana Avenue around 8:25 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a pedestrian down in the roadway and pronounced them deceased from their injuries.

The driver of the vehicle that struck the pedestrian fled from the scene without stopping.

Officers cordoned off the area while they investigated the hit and run crash.
