Los Angeles: Deputy Involved Shooting Leaves Suspect Critically Injured

06.27.2019 | 11:02 PM | LOS ANGELES – A suspect was hospitalized with serious injuries after being shot in a deputy-involved shooting, Thursday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a deputy involved shooting in the 500 block of South Gerhart Avenue around 11:02 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a suspect down suffering from a gunshot wound.

Firefighter paramedics responded to the scene and treated the suspect on scene before transporting him to an area hospital in grave condition.

No deputies were injured during the shooting and authorities had the area cordoned off while they investigated the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
