Los Angeles: Crash Kills One, Hospitalizes Several Others

01.26.2019 | 2:08 PM | LOS ANGELES – A crash in the Lake Balboa left one person dead and several others hospitalized, Saturday afternoon.

Authorities responded to reports of a crash near the intersection of Parthenia Street and Encino Avenue around 2:08 PM.

Crews arriving on scene found a two vehicle crash with approximately 6 patients.

One person was pronounced deceased on scene while two other victims had to be cut free from the wreckage.

At least 4 patients were transported to area hospitals as a result of the collision.

Officers were on scene investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
