Los Angeles: Crash Into Power Pole Kills Driver

12.19.2018 | 9:40 PM | LOS ANGELES – A driver was dead and a passenger was hospitalized after a car crashed into a power pole, Wednesday night.

Authorities responded to the reported crash at the intersection of Indiana and 4th streets in the Boyle Heights area of Los Angeles around 9:40 PM.

Firefighter paramedics arriving on scene discovered two occupants inside a vehicle that had apparently crashed into a power pole and a parked car.

The driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead on scene and the passenger was transported to a local trauma center in unknown condition.

Police are on scene investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
