Los Angeles: Boy Shot To Death Near Burger Stand
09.10.2019 | 8:30 PM | LOS ANGELES – A boy was shot and killed near a burger stand in the unincorporated area of Westmont, Tuesday evening.
Authorities responded to reports of a shooting with a victim down at a burger stand located near the intersection of West 105th Street and Vermont Avenue in the Westmont area around 9:30 PM.
Units arriving on scene found an unknown age boy suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
Firefighter paramedics treated the boy on scene before transporting him to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
Initial reports indicate the boy was walking when a vehicle pulled up to him. A suspect exited the vehicle and opened fire before fleeing.
Officers cordoned off the area surrounding the shooting while they launched an intensive search for the suspected shooter who remained at large.
