Los Angeles: Body Found After Firefighters Extinguish Trash Fire
04.22.2020 | 1:10 AM | LOS ANGELES – A person was found dead after firefighters extinguished a trash fire, early Wednesday morning.
Authorities responded to reports of a trash fire burning in the 2200 block of Eighth Street in the downtown area around 1:10 AM.
Units arriving on scene located and quickly extinguished the fire in a large trash can.
Once the flames were extinguished firefighters located a lifeless body.
Officers responded and secured the scene pending an investigation.
The circumstances surrounding the fire and deceased body remain under investigation.
The age, gender, or identity of the victim was not immediately available.
