Long Beach Man Shoots At Police, Captured

 

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 7-13-25 | 11:00pm
LOCATION: Cedar Ave & 14th
AREA/CITY: Long Beach
DETAILS:

1. A suspected gang member fired a gun towards officers near an alley near Cedar Ave & 14th St
2. Officers were able to contain the area and track the suspect to a bush near a park in front of a home on 14th west of Pacific
3. LBPD fired less lethal at the suspect, he was hit (possibly in the face)
4. Long Beach PD recovered a gun from the scene
5. The suspect was taken to the hospital by ambulance
6. Police have the are closed of for their investigation
7. The suspect is from a previous containment in the area where another gun was recovered as well
