Long Beach: Hit And Run Driver Leaves Man Dead In Roadway

12.04.2018 | 10:21 PM | LONG BEACH – Police were searching for the driver who fatally struck a pedestrian and then fled the scene, Tuesday night.

Police and fire officials responded to the reported auto versus pedestrian crash in the 6600 block of Long Beach Boulevard shortly after 10:20 PM.

Officials arriving on scene found a man’s lifeless body in southbound lanes of Long Beach Boulevard. The man’s body had trauma consistent with being hit by a vehicle.

A crime scene was established while police searched for clues.

No suspect or vehicle description was immediately available.
