Long Beach: Game Warden Discovers Drugs In Boat Being Towed

04.05.2019 | 10:15 AM | LONG BEACH – A man was in custody after being stopped while towing a boat loaded with drugs, Friday morning.

An game warden with the California Department of Fish and Wildlife stopped the pickup truck hauling a boat in the 4200 block of East 2nd Street around 10:15 PM.

During the encounter the suspect fled after the game warden discovered what appeared to be wrapped up drugs in the boat.

Mutual law enforcement agencies responded and took the man into custody while officers continued to investigate the circumstances surrounding the recovery.

There was no word on how much or what type of drugs were discovered.
