Long Beach: Five Car Crash Leaves One Dead

01.21.2020 | 10:49 PM | LONG BEACH – A man was dead after a multi-vehicle crash on a busy freeway, Tuesday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision involving multiple vehicles along the westbound lanes of the SR-91 Freeway near Cherry Avenue around 10:49 PM.

Units arriving on scene found five vehicles involved in the traffic collision.

Firefighter paramedics pronounced transported two patients to an area hospital for treatment. One of the two patients one was deceased at the hospital.

All other involved parties were uninjured or refused medical treatment.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
