Line Fire Burn Scar – Water Gushes Off Burn Scar Throughout Entire Highway

AREA/CITY: San Bernardino Mountains
DETAILS:

1. The major storm hammered the san bernardino mountains throughout the day.
2. The big concern remains highway 330 through the Line Fire Burn Scar.
3. Multiple mud flows and small rock slides impacted the highway however, caltrans patrolled the entire highway with snow plows and were able to keep the highway open and drivable.
4. There were dozens of water falls, drainages creaks, and water flows all along the highway.
5. Water gushed from hill sides, cliffs, backed up drainages, and all other places that were not normal for water flow.
6. As of now highway 330 remained sound, but the concern of a major mudslide grows as this wet weather is expected to continue
