Lighting Strike Causes Tree Fire

DETAILS:

 

1. Riverside fire department responded to reports of a tree fire caused by lightning with a structure threat.
2. When they arrived on scene they found several residents outside the home and a well-involved tree fire.
3. Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire after it fully burned one large tree next to I care facility
4. According to the people at the residence this is a care facility with six patients and three nurses who are inside when the lightning struck.
5. No injuries were reported.
