Learjet Skids Off Runway And Lands on Beach | Coronado

09.09.2022 | 1:20 PM | CORONADO – A Learjet belonging to the GH Equipment LLC or L-3 Communications has crashed off of the runway at the Naval Air Station.

The plane had taken off from the Air Station at 12:20 pm, and flew out over the ocean in the middle of Tropical Storm Kay.

Upon landing, the plane went off the runway.

It’s not known if there are any injuries.

The aircraft went off of the runway and over rocks, stopping short of entering San Diego Bay.

According to the Navy, two people were on board.

There were no major injuries, but both went to a hospital to be checked out.
