Late Night Crash in Colton | Two Vehicles Collide, One Trapped

DETAILS:

1. On August 5th, 2023, at about 1:17 AM, Colton PD, Colton Fire, and AMR responded to a reported crash near S. La Cadena Dr and E. De Berry St in Colton.
2. Colton FD arrived at the scene and located two vehicles with major damage and one party trapped inside the car.
3. One driver was transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries, and the second was extricated from the vehicle and transported.
4. According to a witness off camera, they heard the Ford Mustang crash into the light pole and knocked it down.
5. A couple of minutes later, the second vehicle was driving Southbound, swerving to avoid debris in lanes from the first crash, and hit the second light pole.
6. The official cause of the crashes is under investigation by Colton PD
