Late Night Blaze Engulfs Peoria Home

Firefighters from Peoria, Glendale, and Sun City responded to reports of a house fire at 7315 W. Brown Street at approximately 11:00 PM Tuesday night.
Upon arrival, firefighters found heavy smoke and flames billowing from the front of a single-story residential home.
The home residents were able to evacuate safely before the arrival of firefighters, and units on the scene were informed that a cat was still inside the house.
Firefighters secured a water supply and deployed handlines for a fire attack.
Crews were able to quickly knock down the main body of fire from the front yard.
Additional crews entered the home, declaring the residence clear of occupants.
The status of the outstanding cat is unknown.
A Glendale Fire Crisis team is on the scene, working to provide the displaced residents with resources.
The exact number of displaced occupants has yet to be confirmed.
No injuries have been reported, and Peoria Fire investigators are working to determine what caused the fire.
