LASD Detective Dies After Suffering Medical Emergency While Driving | Carson

LASD, CHP & LACoFD responded to a report of a traffic collision (LACo.FD w/ Battalion Chief: Standard response for officer involved traffic collisions.)

Per witnesses a large LASD presence followed the ambulance to a local hospital.

Per CHP CAD #02597 the vehicle involved was a county vehicle, the log also stated possible 1144.

LASD officials on scene declined to comment, one deputy confirmed off camera that the vehicle involved was a sheriff vehicle.

LASD declined to state if there were other vehicles involved.

The possible LASD vehicle was the only vehicle on scene.

Heavy rain could be seen in the video.
