Large Fire Rips Through Multiple Log Cabins

DETAILS:

  1.  Multiple unoccupied log Cabin buildings burned down In Crestline tonight after a large commercial fire was reported in Down Town Crestline line Last night.
  2. At around 11:15 PM Fire fighters were dispatched to multiple reports of a large building on fire around the cross street of lake drive and alder.
  3. When the first of the fire resources arrived on scene they reported one commercial structure fully involved with several other structures immediately threatened.
  4. Fire fighters immediately went into a defense tactic to protect the immediate exposures.
  5. As other resources arrived on scene, the complexity of the fire started to increase.
  6. Fire fighters reported that the strategy they were using was not working and they were going to abandon the tactic.
  7. Shortly after, it was reported that the fire had extended into the immediate exposure and was now becoming fully involved.
  8. It took fire fighters over an hour to get full knock down on the blaze as the fire tried to extend to the pine trees that towered over and around the building.
  9. No injuries were reported during the fire and officially the building is reported to be uninhabited, however multiple unconfirmed reports from local residents stated that it is believed that there may have been squatters illegally staying in the building.
  10. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
  11. No further details are known at this time.
