Large Bag Of Meth Found During Traffic Stop

DETAILS:
- An SDPD officer pulled over a white BMW being driven by a male and his male passenger for a traffic violation.
- As soon as the driver stopped, the male passenger jumped out of the vehicle and fled eastbound towards Reo Dr.
- The driver was taken into custody immediately, and other officers arrived and started a manhunt of the other suspect.
- The suspect ran so fast that he ran out of his shoes, leaving them in the street.
- The suspect who fled was not found.
- A search of the car found a large baggie of meth, and the driver will face drug-related charges.
- The suspect that fled the scene was arrested at 5:23 am, as he was seen returning to the scene to look for his cell that he dropped while running away. A residence called the Police when they saw the suspect looking around the area. The officers had already found his cell phone.
