Large 3rd Alarm Fire Destroys Warehouse | Santa Fe Springs

A large commercial warehouse was heavily damaged by flames and the cause is unknown. Firefighters were dispatched to a commercial complex shortly after 1 AM regarding a reported structure fire. Arriving firefighters located a large plume of heavy smoke and flames showing from the building and began attacking the blaze. The blaze was so large that fire officials requested a 2nd alarm assignment followed by a 3rd alarm assignment for multiple additional resources. Firefighters from Downey and LA County assisted in the firefight. Firefighters were able to achieve knockdown around 2:40 AM. No injuries were reported in the blaze.
