LAPD SWAT Deploys Tear Gas On Barricaded Suspect

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 4-19-23 | Approx 10:00 p.m.
LOCATION: Jefferson & 35th st
CITY: Los Angeles
DETAILS:

1. LAPD responded to a report of a 415 man with a machete inside of a food 4 less
2. Officers arrived and the suspect barricaded inside of a nearby RV (unk if he owns the RV)
3. SWAT was requested due to the suspect barricading & not complying
4. SWAT arrived and attempted to call the suspect out of the RV
5. The suspect refused to comply so SWAT deployed tear gas
6. Shortly after tear gas was deployed the suspect exited the RV
7. The suspect was taken into custody without further incident
