LAPD Patrol Vehicle Slams Into Occupied Restaurant During Pursuit

NEW INFO: PURSUIT WAS FOR BURGLARY SUSPECTS. ONE WOMAN WAS ARRESTED BUT UNKNOWN IF SHE WAS PART OF THE BURGLARY CREW.

  1. LAPD was in pursuit of a stolen vehicle when they lost control on a turn and crashed into an occupied restaurant.
  2. Two employees were seated next to the window when one of the workers saw the patrol car and yelled at her co-worker to get out of the way. One of the employees said they barely got out of the way and only felt the shattered glass hit his neck, and his heart is still beating fast from almost getting hit.
  3. The suspect vehicle LAPD was chasing crashed near the Blue Line Metro train station on Firestone Blvd and Maie Ave in the Florence-Graham area.
  4. The suspects are believed to have gotten away by jumping onto a train.
  5. Aside from the stolen vehicle, it’s unknown what other crimes, if any, they were wanted for.
  6. No customers, employees, or officers were injured.
