LAPD Patrol Vehicle Collides With SUV at 61st & San Pedro

At approximately 11:00 p.m. on February 14th, 2026, a marked LAPD SUV and a dark-colored SUV collided at the intersection of 61st Street and South San Pedro Street in South Los Angeles.

The cause of the crash remains unknown at this time. It is also unclear whether any patients were transported by the Los Angeles Fire Department. One individual was seen at the scene holding his head, though it was not confirmed whether he was a driver or passenger involved in the collision.

LAPD officers blocked off the intersection to local traffic as they investigated the incident.
