LAPD Patrol Car Totaled After Pursuit Crash

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 12:32 am 6-6-24
LOCATION: Western Ave and Venice Blvd
AREA/CITY: Harvard Heights
DETAILS:

1. 1. LAPD officers were in pursuit of a vehicle going Eastbound on Venice Bl from Western Ave.
   2. LAPD officers crashed with an innocent motorist who was driving Northbound on Western Ave at the intersection.
   3. The LAPD patrol car ended up crashing next to a building on top of the sidewalk.
   4. No information if any of the officers were transported.
   5. The innocent driver was transported to the hospital with injuries.
   6. A Witness said the officer did not have her red and blue lights on when they took the red light and crashed. LAPD would not confirm at this time.
