LAPD Officer-Involved Shooting Leaves Suspect Injured

At approximately 7:45am on March 10th, 2026, Los Angeles Police Department officers were involved in an officer-involved shooting near Washington Boulevard and Alsace Avenue in the Mid-City area of Los Angeles.

According to authorities, one male suspect was shot during the incident and transported to a local hospital. No officers were injured.

Detectives from the LAPD began arriving at the scene to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting. The reason for the confrontation leading up to the officer-involved shooting was not immediately known.

Family members of the suspect were seen at the scene, and the suspect’s father stated his son was in stable condition but did not provide further details. Video from the scene showed what appeared to be the suspect’s firearm on the ground behind a patrol vehicle before investigators placed an evidence marker next to it.

Officials said they were awaiting a statement from an LAPD commander regarding the incident as the investigation continued.
